Join us for our 69th annual River of Gems rock and gem show at the Polk County Fairgrounds in Rickreall, Oregon! The theme for 2026 is Rocks of Oregon.

Adults, ages 18 & up: $5.00
Kids, ages 17 & under: FREE

Our annual show features dealers, demonstrators, a fluorescent exhibit and display cases showcasing rocks and minerals from around the world, plus many fun games at our Kid’s Corner on all three event days.

River of Gems Show

WAMS Scholarship Oral Auction, Sunday, April 19, 2:00pm

All monies raised during this event go directly to our Jon and Lucille Sams Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to students in Oregon who are applying to college to further their education in earth sciences. The Scholarship Auction takes place in the cafeteria area of the main exhibit building.
Items in this auction are donated by club members and show vendors.

Guest Speakers (Building B) and Activities

We typically have speakers between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm on both Friday and Saturday. The programs are still under development, but topics have included fossils of the Pacific Northwest, crystals and metaphysical or healing qualities, Pacific Northwest geology, and Oregon sunstones.

The WAMS Treasure Egg Hunt for children age 11 and under will take place on Saturday between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.
